You can choose to fast forward only attack rolls or attack/damage. You can choose to have saves automatically rolled, players roll it themselves, or prompt the players. So it does have options but it is definitely geared toward individuals that want to automate their game.Keep in mind this will trigger for ALL incoming damage, and I don’t believe midi has a flag for just ranged DR. Your player will need to be disciplined enough to only use it on ranged attacks. For the first part, create an effect on the Deflect Missiles feature and add the flag flags.midi-qol.dr.all with a value 1d10+dex bonus+monk level.
